Terms of Service
These terms govern your use of EventPeers. By accessing or using the service you agree to them, so please read them carefully.
Overview
EventPeers (“we”, “us”, “our”) provides a directory of professional conferences and optional networking features that allow attendees of the same event to discover each other. These Terms form a binding agreement between you and EventPeers.
You must be at least 16 years old to create an account. You are responsible for keeping your credentials secure and for all activity under your account. Please notify us promptly at security@eventpeers.com if you suspect unauthorized use.
You may sign in with a third-party identity provider (Google or Microsoft) or with an email and password. We rely on those providers for authentication and you must comply with their terms as well.
When using EventPeers you agree not to:
- Impersonate another person, misrepresent your affiliation, or post content you do not have rights to.
- Harass, threaten, or spam other users, or scrape profiles for unsolicited outreach.
- Upload malware, attempt to bypass security controls, or interfere with normal operation of the service.
- Use the service for activity that is illegal where you are or where the service is operated.
You keep ownership of the profile information you publish (name, role, bio, interests, links, and similar fields). By publishing it on an attendee list you grant EventPeers a limited, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, display, and transmit that content strictly to operate the service.
You can remove your networking participation at any time from your account. Deletion may take a short time to propagate across caches.
We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms, if required to comply with law, or to protect users or the integrity of the service. You may close your account at any time by contacting us.
Conference details are provided for informational purposes. We do our best to keep listings accurate but we do not guarantee completeness or timeliness. Always confirm date, venue, and ticketing on the organizer's official site before making travel or purchase decisions.
The service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, EventPeers is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly.
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes we will update the “Last updated” date above and, where appropriate, notify you in the product. Continued use of EventPeers after an update means you accept the new Terms.
