Young Leaders in Alternative Dispute Resolution (Y-ADR) Steering Committee for an in-person “Speed Mentoring”

Join young ADR practitioners for an engaging speed mentoring event in Washington, D.C.

About

The Y-ADR Speed Mentoring - DC Edition is an in-person event designed for young practitioners in Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR). Scheduled for April 22, 2026, from 6 PM to 8 PM at Foley Hoag in Washington, D.C., this event aims to connect young ADR professionals with experienced mentors in a dynamic and interactive format. Participants will have the opportunity to engage in speed mentoring sessions, where they can ask questions and gain insights from seasoned practitioners in the field. This event is open to both CPR members and the public, targeting young ADR practitioners defined as those 45 years old and younger or with less than 8 years of experience in ADR or related fields. The evening will begin with registration at 5:45 PM, followed by a program featuring opening remarks from CPR's Vice President of Global Initiatives, Knar Nahikian. After the mentoring sessions, attendees can network during a cocktail reception, providing a relaxed environment to foster connections and discussions. The Y-ADR Speed Mentoring event is now in its fourth year, building on the success of previous editions, including last year's program in New York City. This unique opportunity is designed to support the professional development of young ADR practitioners, helping them to navigate their careers and build valuable relationships within the ADR community.
