The Winter Academy on International Arbitration, organized by Luiss School of Law in collaboration with the Centre for International Dispute Settlement (CIDS) in Geneva, offers a comprehensive program focused on international commercial and investment arbitration. This five-day course features advanced instruction from leading practitioners in the field, providing participants with valuable insights into key issues and career paths in international arbitration.
Each session includes interviews with ten invited arbitration partners from prestigious international law firms, led by Prof. Douglas. These interviews delve into the partners' career trajectories and highlight the essential qualities and qualifications sought in associates within the international arbitration sector. The sessions conclude with a question-and-answer segment, allowing attendees to engage directly with experienced professionals.
The Winter Academy is designed for individuals seeking to enhance their understanding of international arbitration and expand their professional networks. Classes are conducted in English and take place from January 26 to January 30, 2026, at Luiss University in Rome. Participants will earn 5 ECTS credits upon completion of the program.
