The annual Norwegian Arbitration Day (NAD) conference will take place on February 5, 2026, at the University of Oslo's Old Festive Hall (Gamle Festsal). This event serves as a significant meeting point for arbitration practitioners, judges, and academics, focusing on contemporary trends, challenges, and developments in both national and international arbitration. The program includes keynote speeches and panel discussions featuring prominent figures in the field, such as Supreme Court justices and leading arbitration practitioners.
The conference will commence at 2:30 PM and conclude at 7:00 PM, featuring two main parts. The first part will address the challenges of arbitral awards from the court's perspective, while the second part will explore the intersection of arbitration, sanctions, and ordre public. In addition to the main event, there are several pre-events and post-event receptions scheduled, providing further opportunities for networking and discussion among participants.
