The Georgetown International Arbitration Society is excited to present the flagship French Arbitration Day 2026, co-organized with the Embassy of France and sponsored by Squire Patton Boggs. This event will take place on March 18, 2026, at the Maison Française, Embassy of France in Washington, D.C.
This year's panel will delve into the theme 'The Transatlantic Trade Corridor: Arbitration Trends and their Role in Commercial Disputes between France and the U.S.' The event will feature notable speakers including Thomas Clay, Founder at Clay Arbitration, Douglas Pilawa, Senior Associate at Squire Patton Boggs, and Cherine Foty, Senior Associate at Covington & Burling LLP.
Participants will have the opportunity to engage with experts in the field of arbitration and gain insights into the evolving landscape of commercial disputes across the Atlantic. The event will begin with registration at 5:00 PM, followed by the panel discussion from 5:30 PM to 6:30 PM.
