An advanced masterclass for experienced arbitration practitioners focusing on Nordic arbitration practices.
About
The FAI/FAA Arbitration Masterclass – Nordic Arbitration Edition is designed for seasoned arbitration practitioners seeking to enhance their skills in a collaborative environment. Scheduled for 13–14 March 2026 at Hanaholmen in Helsinki, this advanced program builds on the success of its inaugural edition in 2024. Participants will engage in four modules that cover essential aspects of arbitral proceedings, including independence and impartiality, case management, evidence evaluation, and decision-making.
In addition to the modules, the masterclass features a fireside chat with a prominent Nordic arbitration leader, who will share insights and experiences from her extensive career in international arbitration. The program aims to foster an interactive and collegial atmosphere, limited to 25 participants to ensure meaningful exchanges and discussions.
Open to experienced arbitration practitioners from the Nordic region and beyond, applicants must have at least ten years of dispute resolution experience and a notable background as arbitrators. The application deadline is 9 December 2025, and selected participants will be notified thereafter. The participation fee is EUR 1,750, which includes tuition, accommodation, meals, and networking opportunities.
