CAM‑CCBC Pre-Moot São Paulo

For over 14 years, CAM-CCBC has proudly hosted its traditional and pioneering Pre-Moot in São Paulo, originally launched during the 18th Willem C. Vis Moot. This event was created to support Brazilian teams as they prepare for one of the world’s most prestigious arbitration competitions. Each year, more than 25 teams from across Brazil and beyond come together in São Paulo for the country’s largest and most influential Pre-Moot. Over an intense and collaborative weekend, participants immerse themselves in a simulation modeled after the Vienna Vis Moot, sharpening their advocacy skills and fostering invaluable connections before heading to the global stage in Europe and Asia. The Pre-Moot is also a hub for knowledge exchange and mentorship. Over 120 selected arbitrators—renowned national and international professionals with expertise in arbitration, the CISG, and international competitions—evaluate and guide students in their oral arguments. The event not only offers preparation but also serves as a unique networking platform, bringing together mooties, arbitrators, and coaches for meaningful connections and professional growth. CAM-CCBC is committed to supporting teams beyond the event itself, awarding prizes to the top-ranked teams to help cover the costs of attending the Vienna Moot.
