3rd ICC South Africa Arbitration and ADR Days

The 3rd ICC South Africa Arbitration and ADR Days will take place from February 5 to 11, 2026, in Johannesburg and Cape Town. This event aims to bring together stakeholders in dispute resolution, focusing on enhancing South Africa's role in complex cross-border dispute resolution. With an arbitration framework aligned to international standards, the program aims to deepen understanding of institutional processes and strengthen confidence in international practices. Participants will benefit from modern, practice-focused learning and engagement with experienced international practitioners. The event features an ICC Training on International Commercial Arbitration, alongside ICC YAAF events in both cities, and coincides with ICC’s participation at Mining Indaba, a premier African mining investment conference. The target audience includes leaders from the private and public sectors, engineers, lawyers, in-house counsels, and young practitioners. The program includes structured presentations covering essential principles and procedures of arbitration under the ICC Rules, as well as discussions on navigating international arbitration practice. Attendees will explore topics such as drafting effective arbitration agreements, initiating arbitration, and understanding key jurisdictional concepts. This event is free of charge but requires prior registration.
